Three BSB Students Receive Best Marks in Spain
We are delighted to announce that three students from The British School of Barcelona have been honoured with the prestigious Outstanding Learner Awards from Cambridge Assessment International Education, to acknowledge their exceptional performance in the A Level June 2023 examination series. These awards not only underscore the talent and hard work of our students but also recognise the dedication and commitment of both teachers and parents.
The three BSB students have achieved the Highest Marks in Spain for the following subjects:
- Top in Spain in AS Level Biology
- Top in Spain in AS Level Literature in English
- Top in Spain in A Level Biology and Chemistry
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards are bestowed upon students with the highest marks and grades in their subject in each exam series. Winning one of these awards means that a student has outperformed thousands of others who took the same subject, both in their country and globally.
A Decade of Outstanding Learner Excellence at BSB
Every year, a number of our BSB students are recognised as the best performing learners from the international assessment boards. They are presented with Outstanding Learner Awards for achieving the highest marks in a particular subject, spanning Spain, Europe, and, in some cases, globally.
Over the past decade, BSB students have achieved an impressive tally of sixty-seven of these prestigious awards from Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge Assessment International Education:
- 6 Tops in the World
- 5 Highest Marks in Europe
- 42 Tops in Spain
- 2 Highest Marks in Spain
- 12 High Achievements
Among these, Biology and English Literature stand out as the most awarded subjects, with a total of eight students being recognised in each. Chemistry closely follows with seven awards, while students in English as a Second Language, Geography, and Physics have each earned six awards.
Congratulations to all students for their hard work, and a big thank you to everyone who played a part in helping these students achieve this success!
